Thank~you Christine, even though you preach against it, you give me pleasure almost everytime.

Christine's latest: "Where in the Constitution is separation of church and state?":

Republican Christine O'Donnell challenged her Democratic rival Tuesday to show where the Constitution requires separation of church and state, drawing swift criticism from her opponent, laughter from her law school audience and a quick defense from prominent conservatives.
The audience reaction caught by the mic are pretty funny. And the rush to her defence from the usual suspects is predictable. These are the wingnuts after all. Seeing the world through black and white lenses is what they are all about.
"Where in the Constitution is separation of church and state?" O'Donnell asked while Democrat Chris Coons, an attorney, sat a few feet away.

Coons responded that O'Donnell's question "reveals her fundamental misunderstanding of what our Constitution is. ... The First Amendment establishes a separation."
To witch Christine responded, "Really?" Also interesting in the video, is her reaction to the audience reaction. It seems, at least for a second, that she thinks she scored some major "Gotcha"! Then reality hits and she spins it in to "Those words" are in the first amendment?!?!?!?

Christine O'Donnell ignorant of the Constitution

  1. "I'm sorry, I didn't bring my constitution with me." ...yeah. Damn she's dumb. Scary that people like that actually get support.
