A similar recall on Wednesday only listed smoked pork loin chops that expired on Jan. 23, 2009 and thin sliced chicken breast products expiring on Jan. 16, 2009.
On Dec. 13, Mariposa also recalled Old Style brand pastrami bearing a best before date of Jan. 15, 2009 and on Nov. 3, they warned against Old Style brand thin sliced honey ham bearing a best before date of Nov. 17, 2008.
But now, the CFIA says all the above products may be tainted with listeria bacteria regardless of expiration dates.
All these products were distributed throughout Ontario. The sliced honey ham recalled on Nov. 3 were distributed to Price Choppers throughout the province.
