Via Daily Kos. Fresh off the heels of a senseless murder by a right wing extremist, another right winger snaps. Radio and blog host Hal Turner has been arrested for inciting Connecticut Catholics to "take up arms" and singling out two Connecticut lawmakers and a state ethics official. Hal’s money quote~
"It is our intent to foment direct action against these individuals personally," the blog stated. "These beastly government officials should be made an example of as a warning to others in government: Obey the Constitution or die."
He didn’t stop there.
And, the post continued, "If any state attorney, police department or court thinks they're going to get uppity with us about this; I suspect we have enough bullets to put them down too."
There are several links in the comments exposing Turner for the racist that he is. Oh, and he is linked to ultimate douchbag, sean hannity.

ReplyDeleteWe're fortunate in a couple of respects. The first is that most Catholics in North America are pretty laid back about religion. They don't have the fanaticism of the Pentecostals or Baptists. The second is that Catholics aren't very big on listening to their clergy. Look how many of them get divorces, think abortion should be legal etc. etc.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya Greg. Turner though, is one disturbed individual trying to lure the fundies into taking action. That's the way I see it, anyway. He even went as far as giving advice to future killers on how not to get caught. I have no problem with anybody of any faith, as long as their beliefs don't infringe on the rest of society.
